Lois Tackie-Oblie
Lead Pastor + Priest

Lois moved to London in 2014 and worked as a solicitor for a few years before the unexpected realisation that she was being called to church ministry in the Church of England. Lois trained as an ordinand at KXC and began her curacy within the church in July 2023. During her time at KXC, she worked across various areas of the church including Student Ministry, Discipleship and Formation. She has also overseen Evangelism, Sunday volunteer teams and even had a little stint working alongside the Kids Team during the COVID pandemic.

Over the last few years, Lois has developed deep affection for the city of London and, with that, a desire to see the city transformed by the power of Jesus and his kingdom.

Pete Hughes
Priest-in-Charge

Pete, alongside his wife Bee, leads KXC and will act as Priest-in-Charge of Well City Church at the start of the church plant.

KXC (King's Cross Church) is a church in the heart of King's Cross, London, seeking to serve God's purpose to make all things new.

When the church was planted in 2010, Pete and Bee were sent with a small group of leaders and a simple vision: to recklessly give themselves away to God, each other and the people of King’s Cross and beyond.
